Louis de' Corne, son of the Doge Oguma de' Corne, is tasked with visiting the workshop of the renowned Painter Gouhin so he may commission a fresco for the wall of Oguma's Villa.  It seems a simple enough task, until he gets caught up with one of  Gouhin's apprentices, a gray wolf named Legosi.  What secrets does this wolf's mysterious lineage hide, and what does it have to do with Pope Yafya?
