Hi Patreonizers!

Writing here really feels like writing an old friend. How's your mother? How are your kids doing in school? Did you fix your lawn mower yet?

Last month, we lost both my grandfather and my uncle. Living far away from my family is ok most of the time, but when other family members are going through tough times and grieving it really sucks to not be able to be there and support them.

I'm fine, I've actually been feeling very calm and content lately. Being so close to death really brings a lot of appreciation for life. I've been starting to feel very different overall these last couple of months. I think it might be those seven months (!) of daily yoga and meditation that are doing weird things to my brain. I will only respond to "Guru Giertz" from now on. Thanks.

IMAGE DUMP
Anyway. Here are some pics from these last couple of weeks.

I filmed a commercial for Kellogg's! It's currently airing in Australia and New Zealand. Here's me tweeting in the middle of a photoshoot because business woman hard much.

The whole shoot was pretty sweet. In all of its meanings.

I'm running my Shaper Origin HARD! Not trying to sell you anything, but it's honestly such a nice tool. Cutting stuff with it is a pretty slow process, but being able to drop SVG's on a USB and start cutting them two minutes later without having to have a huge CNC at my house is really something special.

I gave an interview to the BBC. It'll be out sometime next week. They say I have a face for radio and a voice for gifs. I was also on this great podcast called Ologies with overall cool person Alie Ward.

HAVE YOU WATCHED THE EPISODE YET? It hasn't done terribly well in terms of views but I care way less about that than the response from you who watched it. I don't think I've ever gotten as many nice comments on a video, and our comment sections are usually really nice from the start. Thanks all of you who tweeted and said kind things about it, it really warms my content creator heart <3

That episode made me laugh so hard. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen! I'll share it on social media and make all my friends watch it.
