Obsidian Reference Sheet (updated 2022) (Patreon)

It has been half a year since I had really settled on a design for my big croc sona and I finally took the time to draw out his reference!

Occupation: Dark Knight and Divinity of Hunt and War under Lotus

Long ago, a lone knight with no name had his life ended very shortly fighting for those he loved. A knight of much skill, a war ender some called him, yet that last battle of his ended his life. His body sliced in to from right shoulder to left hip. That was when he saw it.. a eternal darkness, a chaos unimaginable by some.. yet he did not falter. Peace was in his mind and this intrigued the god Chaos who approached him from the start. Blessing him with a powerful chaotic energy, sealed away by obsidian rock which was used to keep his body as one, he was dawned the name Obsidian, the Chaos Knight. Eventually after some time he came to serve under me, Lotus. He gets along with the creatures who live in the garden, and protects it and me despite knowing i dont need it. A chaotic hunting beast all the same yet so calm and peaceful despite this. I gave him divinity over the hunt due to his otherworldly natural hunting skills and war being he is a dark knight and quite the one man army.... You know despite how he comes off.. I do wonder how happy he really is. Even with my presence he seems to be.. lonely.
