I have a small objection! Pirate's accents aren't made up, they're based off of the West Country accent such as Bristol, Gloucestershire, Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset. Bristol specifically is a key influencer due to its maritime heavy history including privateering and Slavery (Bristol is where that Colston statue was torn down and thrown into the river).
