New Year, New Rewards! (Patreon)

Thanks to everyone who participated in our poll from Thank You Patrons day. We're pleased to announce our reshuffling of the tier-rewards to better suit what you'd like to see from us. All of the changes are currently reflected in the sidebar of our Patreon homepage — and the short of it is: seasonal updates, Wallpaper packs, maps replacing dramatic readings. But here's the long of it:

We want to be more communicative about what we're doing on-and-off the channel. So we'll be posting season updates on our plans for the coming months, for everybody to see. This will include sneak peeks at new video topics, the chance to vote on topics when applicable, and updates on our Merch store and discount codes (BTW use promo-code FREESHIP11dabdf0 for free shipping at Threadless until tomorrow night!)

We're also bringing some more love to the $10-tier, now known as "Beowulf's Drinking Buddies", with by-far the most requested feature from our poll last month. We'll be uploading monthly wallpaper packs full of art and maps from recent videos.

The $20-tier is now 'No Party Like a Pele Party", which we really felt it was like to be an OSP patron: exciting, inviting, and possibly on fire? ANYway, Red will continue to provide personalized chibi artwork for new patrons, the main change here is that Blue will switch from doing voiceovers to creating personalized maps. We recognize that it's not easy thinking of a particular speech you want read, but pick any country or empire in history and we'll whip it up all nice and shiny for you (See the attached images for examples).
Country your family is from? Done. Empire you aspire to eclipse through force of will and the assistance of dragons? Easy. Fictional country that you and your roommate came up with by smashing Greece and Turkey together one time while stuck on a bus in traffic? Weirdly specific but also yes!
Additionally, all patrons who pledge $20 and up will be added to a special section of our new end-cards we'll be rolling out in January!

We hope that these tweaks make it easier for you to get the most out of your Patreon support. And, of course, thank you all for supporting what we do through your generosity. We really couldn't be here if not for the stability of your contributions on this site.
