Patreon Update: New patreons will now be charged at moment of pledging, will get awards instantly (Patreon)

Hi everyone, Patreon has rolled out a new update which we will incorporate into our own Patreon.

From now on, new patreons will be charged the moment that you they pledge. This means new patreons will get awards including any released betas for the month they pledge instead of having to wait until the first day of next month to get the awards.  Under the previous system, if you pledged in April and a beta came out in April, you could not get the beta because your pledge hadn't processed yet, but under the new system, if you pledge in April, you will get betas released in the same month.

Following the initial pledge, you will be charged at the first day of every month to maintain your subscription.

This change has no impact for our current patreons so feel free to ignore this note if you're already a patreon. But if you decide to increase your pledge, the difference in payment will be paid immediately and you will get the increased awards immediately as well.
