In this Unity game development tutorial we're going look at how we can add a bit more personality to a character, by playing random "Bored" animations after they’ve been left idle for a period of time. We'll start by downloading several animations to play when the character becomes bored. We'll then look at how to use a Blend Tree combined with a State Machine Behaviour Script, to transition to these animations at random after a period of idle time.
