Happy April everyone!

Here I encourage all of you to speak up about anything when it comes to art, hobbies, shows/movies/games you been enjoying...all is welcome! In addition to that, I'm going to pose a question to answer at the end of your comment or if you have nothing to say but want to join in and take part!

Question of the month: What piece of entertainment (book, movie, game, etc) has impacted your life the most?

For me I have three shows that impacted the trajectory of my life at different points,

When I was a 6 or 7, the Batman Animated Series was responsible for why I like to draw in the first place. Batman's silhouette was so simple it made me feel more confident in my ability to draw and would inspire me to keep doing it as I grew.

Then it was Dragon Ball Z for most of my my teenage years, that show got me into anime and taught me how to draw more complex things like basic anatomy (even though the anatomy in DB is insanely warped)

Lastly My Hero Academia and Kohei Horikoshi hit me the hardest in my 20's. Fell in love with everything about it. The manga's art style pushed me to think about adding dynamics and improving anatomy, hands, faces and emotions. When he would post his twitter sketches of the characters just in casual clothes hanging out it inspired me to branch out to art that wasn't always fighting based, which is when I started drawing the casual series. To this day I think I'm more obsessed with this property then any of the others and I don't know why! my guess is that its the art style...

Anyways...What about you guys!?

I got really into video games by playing stuff like Persona, Zelda, and Fire Emblem. Those made me interested in game design and visual story telling. I feel like without any of them, ESPECIALLY Zelda, I wouldn't be an artist

Thats amazing, Persona is definitely a huge Inspo in terms of everything. Character design, personality and just relationships in general. Zelda is a given but for me persona was a sleeper hit!
