Alright, trying to make a spoiler-free description of the fruit types, let's go. Zoan - the beast(and human) transformation fruits - Chopper (Reindeer who ate the Human-Human fruit) and Kaku and Rob Lucci from Enies Lobby are your main references to these so far. Logia - These fruits give the consumer control over an element, or a force/aspect of nature, and turns their body into it as well which (in all but one case, you've already seen Blackbeard's Yami-Yami fruit) grants their body impermanence from standard attacks. They inherit their element's weaknesses, however, as we've seen with Crocodile and Eneru. And finally Paramethia/Paramecia - These fruits are the "miscellaneous" category, and don't have specific parameters to define them. Many of them turn their consumer's body into an object (Rubber for example, anyone?) but they also have things like Buggy's Chop-Chop fruit, or Mr 2's Clone-Clone fruit. We did see Rayleigh fighting off Kizaru's attacks without any visible use of a weakness to Kizaru's element, so I'll end it by saying there is another way to combat Logia types, but you'll learn more about it before too long.
