Ok, I appreciate the content about Steven since I really liked the show and I've watched it through its entirety so I know a thing or two about this series. And hate to say that you've spoiled major points in the series in this video so if you do probably check it out in your own time. So Steven Universe is a series created by Rebecca Sugar (who also was a collaborating artist for adventure time) about a half human boy that's also a gem. Gems are an alien race of gemstones/geodes (our birthstones of that makes it easier; garnets, amethysts, pearls, quartz, etc...) Steven and his family, the crystal gems, are protectors of the world and humanity against monsterfied gems that wreak havoc on the planet from a casualty of a war against the tyrannical homeworld, the gem race and the crystal gems. Steven being the son of the leader, rose quartz, is in his own coming of age story about trying to learn his powers and grow into a proper crystal gem thanks to his mom's efforts in trying to protect the world from annihilation. Him and the gens are the last remaining crystal gems on the planet and they do what they can to keep the peace for humans. Rebecca is actually a huge fan of anime and especially One Piece, so the songs from the movie you watched about spinel are her hommage to luffy and his cartooney and freestyle abilities. So Steven universe is worth a watch, you'll fall in love with the characters in a show and healthy manner in the same way we fall for our strawhats, there are some pretty good epic moments, like stronger than you, and like the song here comes a thought is a great song that's like pain pill for anxiety and/or anxiety attacks which is greats fearful moments in the show. The series also has a banging original TV soundtrack so there's always going to be fun songs in the show as well. Also one last little fun fact, each character is paired with a certain musical style/instrument as a leimotif to their character. Steven is chiptune, garnet is synth-bass, pearl is piano, and amethyst is drums. Most of the prominent characters in the series all have musical notes for them as well.

I think it's still worth reacting to you probably won't remember most of the details form the songs and it would be good when you get to them in the show and gain a better appreciation for them

We wont be doing it until maybe after gravity falls so I probably would have forgotten by then. I've never seen adventure time either, there are so many ones I've missed out on😔 Sounds like a fun series to get into with a lot of depth I cant wait!!
