If you want to check out more Wuxia (this style of martial arts films), you might try the films by Zhang Yimou. His films Hero, Curse of the Golden Flower, and Shadow are all good, but my personal favorite is House of Flying Daggers. It also stars Zhang Ziyi who played Jen in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. House of Flying Daggers, in addition to being just a generally good movie, is visually stunning.

I couldn't finish this one. Subtitles on a film I really didn't care too much to watch in the first place. 🫤

My first martial Arts movie was the early '70s -"Return of the Dragon" Starring Bruce Lee.

This is a beautifully shot, haunting, soul-filling film. One of my all time favourites. Subtitles don't bother me in the least. So glad you 2 watched it!

yes, chow yun fat, known for double guns, i guess like laura croft. the killer [made him], anna & the king [cant remember, clasic story, love jodi Foster] the replacements, i think - 1st cross over to the states, its ok. but i love this movie, the actresses are stunning!! LT
