Hey everyone!! Is it possible to still have a Halloween hangover? My walls are blank, costumes put away but for some reason I still have been SO tired the last week, waiting for my energy to come back! I actually love the time between Halloween and Thanksgiving, feels cozy. I’m not quite ready for Christmas yet, do you deck your halls before Thanksgiving? If it makes you happy, I love that, I almost like to “save it” ,the magic I mean, so I don’t get to used to it by Christmas haha does that make any sense?

This week we have two very emotional movies. Sorry about the switch-a-too last week, just needed to rearrange things last minute! I’ve been telling everyone I know about Fools Rush In though ❤️💔

Who has a good thanksgiving movie recommendation for this year? I’ve heard Son in Law suggested?

Look out for the promised second Heist Poll this week, and get why not let’s do a Martial Arts Poll too! I also have big news COMING SOON-rhymes with Par Wreck.

just for fun…

Currently reading-Iron Flame (second book in crazy viral Fourth Wing series) comes out today. I need to go stand in a line somewhere stat!

Currently Watching-(besides channel movies) I watched Love at First Sight on Netflix, it was cute, the perfect thing to turn on while you fold 11 (yes 11) loads of laundry.

Currently Loving-Homemade gingersnap cookies, my mom’s recipe! Made my first batch of the season and took to a bunch of neighbors, feels like fall!

I know I'm super late for recommending this but I have to do it. The 13 assassins (2010) remake from Takashe Miike is perhaps one of the greatest films I have ever seen period. It's a samurai film so technically a martial arts film I guess. I'm recommending it cuz nobody talks about it. Now that's filmmaking. I'll be singing its praises from the top of the mountain next time we do a samurai poll.

Love at First Sight was actually pretty good.. I think I now have a tiny crush on the Narrator/taxi driver/stewardess/customs agent/bartender lol. :)

Martial Arts has to be “Enter the Dragon”!!! The movie that made Bruce Lee a superstar.

Have you or Carly ever seen the biopic Chaplain, staring Robert Downey Jr...Long before he was Iron Man. Its a very good film, very well acted.

Charlie Chaplain's daughter Geraldine played the part of her grandmother in the Chaplain biopic with Robert Downey Jr.

Paul Rich

It's Chaplin.

The Last Dragon is a fun martial arts film from the 80s you might enjoy.

The Last Dragon is a classic in my household. An absolutely cheesy, yet awesome 80s flick.

Son in law is definitely worth a watch and maybe even a little Brendan Fraser cameo for your brennassance 😂
