This was tougher than I thought it would be after stuff like Halloween, The Thing, Nightmare etc! I think the absence of super natural elements scared me more. You'll see I was so squeamish and pained ha! This just felt real and true crime-esque which made it so creepy. Hope you enjoy!

I can't believe this came out in 1996! I was 9 but clearly remember the marketing when it was released, and though I didn't see in theaters, it wasn't too much later that I did watch it.

For me Matthew Lillard (Stu) made the movie. He's such a great actor. And he made it funnier than it could have been. Most people today know him as the voice of "shaggy" in the Scooby Doo. But he's actually a good dude.

Cassie to answer your question about “Safety on a gun”, it’s a safety mechanism (hence the name safety) that prevents a gun from firing. Some guns have them some don’t (some types of guns don’t ever have them like Glocks and most other guns have models without them as some people don’t like them), and there are a few different types of safety. A lot of older guns (and some current ones) have it built inside or near the trigger guard (round bit that surround the trigger to prevent it from firing if the trigger would bump something without it), some have it built into the grip, the most common is a lever or switch on the side of the gun usually in a spot where you could move it with your thumb. Excited to finally see this in it's entirety. I enjoyed this one way too much on YouTube. Sorry. Wish you liked the scary stuff more...so many classics left to see. I guess there's always October. Though in some North American cultures springtime is indeed known as Verray Scarray May. Cultural appropriation is cool sometimes.
