Delightful, real, heart wrenching and heart warming at the same time. My favorite tv show by the same name was inspired by this and I know why I love both!! This was such a good watch along and Steve Martin is my feel-good guy!

Back when Keanu and Jaquine Phoenix were just starting to really make a name for themselves. As for Mary Steenbergen (Gils wife), if you like her you have to watch Did you hear about the morgans. It's, her, Hugh Grant, Sarah Jessica Parker and Sam Elliot. it's a fun film. As for the throw up scene and her head spinning around that's a Exorcist reference.

Can't say enough good things about this film. Hits so many marks. The cast is brilliant and the timing is so spot on. No sooner does it have you rapt in one emotional state, than it takes a sharp turn into another, then back again. I guess I'm a rollercoaster kind of guy. I just really love it.
