Ok here are the final 4 films dueling for the win! All of these have been on my radar for a long time and I would be excited about any of them!

May the best cowboy win!

This will end on Wednesday evening!

Wow...the two I love the most are doing the worst.

Walter

I know as a fan of westerns and such, I hold a minority position, but Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid has always been a wildly overrated film (despite the incredible cast).

Stick Figure Studios

Honestly, I'd be fine with any of these films that is in 3:10 to yuma, but I'm voting for my favorite of the list: BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID. I've been pushing for this film ever since Cassie watched (and loved) THE STING. Same actors, same director and same charming, witty and utterly delightful tone.

zynjams

another pick of mine shot to heck, Open Range is such a good movie.

Cassie does enjoy films with teachers in it.

Jennifer Medicus

Am I the only one who did not like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? I just didn't get it. I particularly hated the bicycle scene. Just cringey. (I'm sure I'll get hell for this, oh well)

Brent Petty

Open Range is my favorite of these 4, but it looks like it'll lose. Too bad. Costner, Duvall, Benning, Dumbledore, Del from The Green Mile. Great writing, and one of, if not the best shootouts of any western, ever. Plus a love story.

Kat Farlowe

Butch...Butch...Butch!

You should watch the Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, and the Frisco Kid

Paul Mellette

I seem to remember reading that Open Range has the longest gun-fight of any Western in the history of movie-making. I've seen it twice in public and both times there was an audible gasp from the audience when that first shot is fired! The tension builds for so long that when it pops it is amazing. Costner refused to be "Top Billed" in the credits out of respect for Robert Duvall!

Sam R.

I LOVE Open Range I think its one of the best westerns of all time and it has everything you want Cassie , but I really want you to enjoy some of the classics 1st . (kind of a chronological thing) you know so watch Butch and Sundance then Magnificent 7 and THEN you can see the others. .............no spoilers but you are going to Absolutely LOOOOVE Open Range 😄 oh and it has Kevin 😁

Zachary K.

Honestly and truly, although The Outlaw Josey Wales didn't get this far. I love all 60's movies. I did love this movie. I think Cassie will love this movie.

Shawn Kildal

I wonder if it's a close call, Cassie will watch both. Kinda hope so but wouldn't bother me at all if she just sticks with the winner only. After watching her reaction to John Wick 3 featuring Ian McShane (Winston) and seeing her like Tombstone as much as she did, sparking a new fondness for Westerns my hope is one day for her to give Deadwood (and the follow-up movie) a shot. If she really, really wants to get into westerns I think this would the best way to do it in my opinion. 39 episodes if I recall correctly and a fantastic movie to wrap it up with (much like what happened with Firefly). Plus, it's an HBO series. She's loved all HBO series. Deadwood is considered one of the greatest TV shows of all time. Such great and memorable characters on it. She would fall in love with Bullock I'm sure.

They ended up in almost the exact opposite order of what I was hoping for. I should probably not play the lottery this week

nick bell

Probably my all-time favorite show. Hate to say it but Cassie probably will never have a reaction to Deadwood. Hope I'm wrong but not very likely in this instance. Although she surprised me watchingTrue Detective.

Larry Darrell

I like Deadwood, too. It would definitely be an interesting Reaction. I’ve heard tell there’s just some short of 3,000 “F’s” and nearly a few hundred “C-S’s.” Great Story, too.

Sean Novack

I'm just glad she continued to do Westerns at all after the Unforgiven Debacle! NOTE: No! I'm not going to let the people who voted for that film to be the introduction to the Western genre live that mistake down.

Anonymous

I think Ian McShane is responsible for at *least* 50% of those "F"s and "C-S"s too, Larry ;)

Steven Perez

BUTCH CASSIDY wasn't even the best movie that Redford and Newman were in. That honor will always go to THE STING, in my mind. A little disappointed in OPEN RANGE losing.

Jen Barnes

I'm bummed about Open Range losing. You would like it the best of these choices for sure.

John Casamassa

I voted for Magnificent Seven but would have been fine with Open Range. Whelp, these polls don't like me I guess.

Bill W

I'm surprised Open Range lost so hard considering how vocal people are about it. Mag 7 too, but I'm not complaining.

Al Swearengen

Greatest show ever. The characters and dialogue are just incredibly deep. The acting is phenomenal. However, Cassie would despise the show, for obvious reasons.

Damon

I think there were some, like me, that saw Open Range not getting the votes and switched their vote.

Miles E Coburn

Due to the younger skewing demographics, unless a movie is considered an absolute classic masterpiece, an older movie won't win any polls. Hell, even in its bracket, "Open Range" lost to "The Magnificent Seven" (a classic). That's the way it is when content is poll-driven.

KauaiKeith

Finally!!! I’ve been wanting you to watch Butch since you started this channel! One of my favs and the best buddy movie ever! You will also appreciate the fact it was mostly filmed in Utah.

Trevor Rotan

I hope you get to Open Range soon.

Larry Darrell

Since you were voting for Open Range yourself, IF you decided to watch it anyway, like sometime soon, I don’t think anyone would be too upset. Am I Right?

Biggman83

Was Hoping 3:10 would win. Please watch it! Butch Cassidy and Sundance is good, but it would be a shame not to watch a great story like 3:10 to Yuma!

I hope you girls will follow this up with Moonraker.
