Did you know that Gimli from LOTR and Sala from Raiders of Lost Ark are both the same actor John Rhys-Davies?

Back in the seventies you would see a lot of bumper stick with Frodo Lives on them.

So - if no one's answered this question by them both: "Gandalf, Yoda or Dumbledore?" Gandalf! Gandalf is a 'Maiar/lesser Ainur' or: "Tolkien once described Gandalf as an angel incarnate; later, both he and other scholars have likened Gandalf to the Norse god Odin in his "Wanderer" guise." Eru Ilúvatar - is the creator of Ea the "Middle Earth Universe" or more accurately the Ainur created the universe with their music that Ilúvatar guided them to play. Please note that in the beginning of The Two Towers - as Gandalf falls - you hear a 'cling' as he grabs his sword "Glamdring" (the Foe Hammer). This noise I would presume would be the Elven ring of Fire "Narya." It was set with a ruby. It gave its wielder resistance to the weariness of time, and evoked hope in others. Its final bearer was the Wizard Gandalf, who received it from Círdan the shipwright at the Grey Havens during the Third Age. So - Yoda - is a 'natural being' but infused with "The Force." Dumbledore - a 'natural being' too - but a being able to wield/use magic. Gandalf on the other hand is higher up the 'scale' than either and also able to wield magic - albeit - seemingly linked to his staff (via the movies) and with what Tolkien said above... Puts Gandalf above the other two.
