Not to hijack the 10 Commandments great news, but I’m super pumped for My Cousin Vinny. Should be a great pallet cleanser from Legends of the Fall

Happy Easter Cassie. Hope you got lots of good Family time!

The Egyptians worshipped many gods - they had a pantheistic religion,... They believed in Osiris, Ra, Amon-Ra, Set, Bast, Sekmet, Hathor, Imhotep, and many others,... which have been used in movies like The Mummy, or even Ghost Busters,...

Agreed! Totally looking forward to it. Sweet Funny Marisa Tomei's "biological clock" and "...da' two Yutes!" 🤣😂🤣😂

Are you to tell me the laws of physics don’t apply to your stove! That one cracks me up every time

I spent until 2pm today watching the full 3+ hour version with Cassie! Glad I caught the last 5 minutes of her live stream today too!

As for "My Cousin Vinny", Cassie's "later" is usually MUCH later this evening LOL. I might have to wait until tomorrow to watch it. I've been waiting since I found Cassie's last summer for her to react to it! That day had finally come!

Patience is a virtue. It's shows if we wait long enough Cassie will eventually get to all our films.

Ramesses II is considered the greatest builder of ancient Egypt. He reportedly lived to age 90 and fathered over 100 children. Tens of thousands of Egyptian's today carry his DNA. The primary 'God' of ancient Egypt was the Sun or 'Ra'. They believed it regenerated every day. Born in the morning and dying at sunset. That is my basic understanding of their belief......Wishing you all a happy Easter !

Thanks for watching this film, Cassie! You're right. The scale of "The Ten Commandments" is breathtaking. CGI can't really reproduce the grandeur and tactile quality of this movie. Like you, I watched "The Prince of Egypt" many times before watching "The Ten Commandments." It's interesting to see how different the Moses-Ramses relationship is in these two films. In this film, Ramses is, from the start, antagonistic against Moses. In "Prince," Moses and Ramses love each other like brothers, adding an extra layer of tragedy when they become enemies. Although I slightly prefer the "Prince of Egypt" version, Yul Brynner is fantastic as the villainous Ramses in "The Ten Commandments." Anyways, I'm looking forward to part 2 of this reaction! And I hope you and your family have had a wonderful Easter!

Cassie, I swear, your reactions are so genuine and heartfelt. This has been a tradition for my family and me our whole lives. Looking forward to part 2. I hope your Easter was blessed and great! 🙏

A good one from the Sword and Sandal era of biblical films is the Anthony Quinn version of Barabbas. Also great performance by Jack Palance
