Hey guys! Hope you're having a great week so far! Here is the full reaction to Maverick. I posted my thoughts on the Rocky III and it included spoilers (my bad!) and some people hadn't seen it so I think I'll stick to just keeping this short and sweet and if you want to know my thoughts I'll add chapters so you can skip through. Not seen this for a while and really enjoyed watching it again. Especially watching it with your brilliant reaction video. Not sure if anyone else has put this but the bank robber was Danny Glover he was in all the Lethal Weapon movie with Mel Gibson that why they where looking at each other in a funny way.

I also love playing Blackjack because it's not gambling if you're doing it right lol. Well, between Maverick and Unforgiven? Definitely going to see a full spectrum of the genre. I actually hadn't seen Maverick, didn't realize how funny it was, voted for Unforgiven, it is a great film but not exactly fun and I kinda feel bad, hopefully there's a much more fun watch following that. This was so much fun though, loved the reaction!

Clue! After watching Maverick, with all it's twists, reminded me of 1985's Clue, based on the board game, it's a fun movie 🍿

I'm going to have to speak very cryptically, but... has anyone noticed that screenwriter William Goldman throws in a twist to this film that's similar to one he's used in at least two of this other movies? (Maybe more, for all I know.) Does anyone have the faintest clue what I'm talking about? I wish I could speak more plainly.

I don't know if anyone has brought this up... but when Danny Glover shows up they actually play the Lethal Weapon theme song.... and the director also directed Lethal Weapon. You can't get more Easter egg than that!

Nice reaction! I forgot how fun this movie is! Glad you enjoyed it. I recently watched your Dances (Dancing) with Wolves - Theatrical “Cat” reaction. So I was a little surprised you didn’t recognize Joseph was “Kicking Bird”. Shame on you “Watches in Bed”! 😉 Just Teasing! You’re right though. Maverick and Unforgiven are on opposite ends of the Western genre. Not sure how you’ll feel about Unforgiven. But you seem to be very opened minded. I look forward to the reaction.

This was great! This was the first one I've had a chance to watch along with a full reaction, but I couldn't resist seeing all the twists and turns and one of my favorite endings ever!

This would be more of a reboot than a sequel I would wager as James Gardner played Bret Maverick in the TV show. I grew up watching reruns as my dad was a dead ringer for James Gardner. It was the family joke my mom thought she was getting Bret Maverick, but got Jim Rockford. (The Rockford files tv show)
