You'll be seeing Mr. Costner again soon in "Dances With Wolves" so you might want to bring in your sister for that one. A couple of others (if they haven't already been mentioned) are "Open Range" and "Bull Durham"...🐺

LaceUpHockey

Nobody suggesting Yellow Stone as something to add to the watch list when they're so enthralled by Kevin Costner?

resinmonkey .

Just saw the YT version of Field of Dreams. I think you would also like the baseball movie "The Natural" starring Robert Redford. Really love your channel.

Bruce Miller

Dances With Wolves is one of Kevin Costner's best!

Colin Gutierrez

I saw The Natural in 6th grade the last day of school and enjoyed it immensely even though I don't usually care for sports movies.

Jay

Maybe it's my lack of love for baseball, maybe it's my disdain for the star who disappeared up his own a$$ after this film came out? I love DWW (there's a 3 hour+ film that earns it's running time), but Costner was already halfway up his own bum making that film. Anyway, I can't take Field of Dreams seriously, I just think it's ludicrous and not in a good way. Sorry everyone but with all the love coming it's way, we needed a few detractors:)

Andy Hafler

No actually we don't need any comments that are mean without any other purpose than being mean.

Michael Threapleton

Just saw the YT Field of Dreams reaction and it confirms a theory I now have about this film. It has a much stronger emotional effect on men than women. I fully expected Cassie and Carly to be weeping like they were at the end of It's a Wonderful Life. I've watched Field of Dreams many times and always get choked up when he says "Dad" at the end. Ha! I'm even tearing up as I type this. I think this taps into something deep and fundamental about the relationship between men and their fathers. Or perhaps I am projecting and its rooted in the relationship I had with my father.

Jay

Expressing a negative opinion about a film and it's star is mean, are you serious? Sorry I don't like Field of Dreams but this is what we do in the comments section, we share our own opinions about the films she watches and those who star in/make them, good and bad. Get a grip.

Patrick Flanagan

Criticism is fine, but "I feel like this comments section needs more negativity to balance it out" is a weird take

Jay

First off, if you're going to use quotation marks then quote me directly. FOD seems much beloved among this crowd. My semi serious sign off was acknowledging that I'm in the minority here in having a strong dislike for the film, nothing more. If you think that's the main reason I shared my opinion (just to balance out the criticism), you are mistaken.

Mr Jordan

I don't have a particularly close relationship with my father, so this movie doesn't resonate with me as much as it does for others, and I like Costner's Bull Durham more as a baseball movie. However, I do enjoy watching Cassie and Carley's reaction as I can see Kevin Costner will be their new favorite. Also, seeing Cassie chasing after the chicken with the Rocky training footage was worth the price of admission (on YT channel, not Patreon)

Caelin Beaty

Can we all try and get Cassie to watch The Untouchables? Between the action, the drama, Kevin Costner, Sean Connery, Andy Garcia and Robert Deniro I think she’d love it.

David Strattan

The Untouchables is a good suggestion. Violent at times.

Tom Willcockson

League of their Own is a great baseball movie about the women's league during WWII when many of the male players were in the war. Gina Davis is luminous and also great performance by Tom Hanks. Also the Natural starring Robert Redford.
