Isn't great when the reactor doesn't tell you what version they're watching so you're just trying your best to furtively constantly trying to sync the movie? Great times. Seriously I've never had so much trouble syncing a movie, great waste of my time, thanks. Things like this is why I'm seriously asking myself why I'm spending more than the cost of all my TV channels on this. Look I know I act a bit like someone that doesn't have patience but trying to synce a movie you love over and over again really gets to you.

What version were you watching? She always watches the standard release versions. I rented this from Amazon and it synched perfectly - just like every other reaction video of hers.

Hey radwar! Sorry you are having issues. Usually I only specify the version if there are multiple releases (like LoTR, T2 etc..). I wasn't aware there was more than 1 release for this movie! Are you sure you're syncing the full length reaction and not the one in this post which is the YouTube Edit? Let me know if you need more help.

Oh and I can't remember exactly where I watched it but it was either streamed from Netflix or purchased from Amazon. Hope that helps.

Sorry, I'm not mad at you Cassie, it's just frustrating trying to sync a movie when you finally realise you don't have the same version, I know you aren't a movie buff that knows every version of every movie, so It was just frustrating to constantly try to sync a movie that wasn't the same versions as I had.

Which version did you have? I don't see any extended version or directors versions - just the standard release. Did you try and watch a full version with the YouTube edit?!?!?!

radwar: I think it must be an edited-down cable version or a shortened Youtube reaction version you're having issues with, because in his 50-year career, Scorsese has only ever had one theatrical version of all his films. There are no extended or director's cut versions, except for NEW YORK NEW YORK in 1977. Cassie posted the full-length movie reaction version for SHUTTER ISLAND last month, so that video will be in the October posts.

It might also be a PAL vs NTSC issue, since they use different frame rates. PAL uses 25 fps and NTSC 30 fps which means there can be a 4% difference in length between two versions. Hence, it's impossible to sync up and you will have to make tiny pauses throughout. However, i think this problem is more common when it comes to TV show reactions.

Didn't someone on Patreon build a sync tool for just this situation? And, @Radwar -- no matter how frustrated you are, about anything, there is never a need for such nastiness. I'll gladly pay you to recoup your losses if that means you'll calm down and ask for help rather than lash out in frustration. We have a discord channel that is open 24 hours a day, too.

The same thing happened for me when I watched The Otherw. It wasn’t a matter of different version. It was a question of different framerates. Also; even if you’re frustrated you can always try to be nice.

Been on here awhile….and I’m technology challenged….and have had NO problem syncing a movie. Calm down. Not like the Reaction is going anywhere! These smart folks on here will help you figure it out. Going after the film goddess not gonna help your cause. But if you’re going to be an ass post your cashapp and I’ll send you your fee for this month and you can be on your way.

You know your comment is on the trimmed down, condensed, compacted, YouTube Highlight reel... right? Did you try sync'ing the movie with this or did you hunt down the Full Length reaction and watch that?

I seriously doubt it. Radwar was probably having a bad day and let some of the frustration out in that comment. They said "Sorry, I'm not mad at you Cassie" later in the same thread so they probably realized it was a bit harsh.

I tried a few times, it didn't work for me, Cassie's reactions always go faster than my version :D (probably a difference in framerates...) I'll try again, but I'm here to support the channel, the rest is a bonus ;)
