"Who's he-man?" Hurt my soul... hot take, ghostbusters II is funnier than the first.

Cassie, I agree with your closing thoughts. In comparison, this movie seems a little more toned down, like you said "family friendly." Still, an overall enjoyable movie especially with Bill Murray throwing his one-liners. That's really sad about the twins playing baby Oscar that one of them couldn't conquer his own demons and took his life which I honestly didn't know about until reading through the comments. For another "scary" movie suggestion, you should check out "The Wolfman" starring Anthony Hopkins (Van Helsing from Dracula) and Benicio del Toro

Cassie, are you still taking suggestions for more October/Halloween movies? I'm new here and it would take me forever to read all the comments first but I'm sure "Ghost" as well as "Donnie Darko" with a VERY young Jake Gyllenhaal has been suggested. I just realized both movies had Patrick Swayze! Drew Barrymore has a small part in "Donnie Darko" and Whoopie Goldberg is hilarious in "Ghost."

Thanks, Raven. IMO, Ghost would have worked nicely. Any mention of Donnie Darko?

Before I started living as a nomad, from 2013-2016 I lived on the far northern end of Manhattan. Was a night I was coming home walking down the street and a coupla workmen were taking a quick break during the creation of a hole in the street. It honestly took me a few moments to talk myself out of stepping over and making a quick joke about being careful of the River of Slime. I got past the urge though.

One of the reasons I am a patron of your channel is that when you are enjoying something you are watching that enjoyment spills over onto everyone watching you. Keep being you Cassie!

Very enjoyable reaction. I forgot how funny Rick Moranis is in this. Loved the callback to 'redrum' in The Shining. At this point I hope that everytime Cassie's orders a Rum and Coke she just does her Danny impression "redrum! redrum!"

I love when someone is enjoying what they're watching rather than watching someone being uncomfortable.

"I feel like he needs a diaper" Cassie you would point that out 🤣🤣

I was thinking that since there is a good chance you won't be watching The Exorcist this year, that maybe you'd like to see the audience reaction to the movie when it first premiered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkIqFK3KoZ4 Or this one is interesting: The Cultural Impact of The Exorcist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSVHpX1CDN8 These shouldn't scare you necessarily, but would show the effect the movie had and still has. Anyways, I totally understand the reluctance to watch the movie, absolutely one of the most shocking I've seen, and also one of my favorites. Happy Halloween!

The Exorcist is a truly fantastic movie; raw, uncompromising and grounded in sense of believability which you don't find today. Don't watch it Cassie, it's not for you, trust me.

Cassie, the next installment is "Ghostbusters After-Life", which will be coming out in theaters later this month. It's the direct sequel to this one and takes place 30 years later. "Ghostbusters (2016) is the girl one. And it was a complete reboot of this one. I wouldn't recommend it.
