Voted Fargo since I love the film and I don't think it's been reacted to that much.

Brian McGovern

I kind of figured what the winner would be of these 2. Oh well. Can't all be winners although I am sure she will get around to watching the other at some point. Both very good movies though.

So judging by the fact both these movies already went up against Silence of the Lambs and lost badly, its watching Silence of the lambs lol... good luck Cassie XD

Silence of the lambs... oof... that one is rough. It also makes it somewhat hard to watch another movie with Anthony Hopkins after it. Man is an outstanding actor. But sheesh is it... well. you will see.

I flippin loves me some Fargo, I'm excited to see Cassie react to it if it wins. Either way fun times will be had 😄

I love Silence of the Lambs, but I'm such an easily frightened person that it's really hard to watch. But it's still one of my favourite films

I always wonder about a correct order to watching films. Of course for many people the first time they encounter Anthony Hopkins is in Silence of the Lambs. Someone suggested the movie Meet the Fockers and I think it would be really fun but part of the enjoyment for me was seeing Robert De Niro in a comedy after seeing him in so many mob/drama movies. Definitely an interesting thought process about what movies should be watched and in what order and how the brackets shape up.

Shawn Anderson

I think Hannibal is more graphic than Silence of the Lambs, but all four movies are worth a watch.

Ronny Boss

I really enjoyed Red Dragon it creeped me out way more that Silence of the Lambs. Haven't watched Hannibal yet, but one of my friends keep telling me to check it out

Mikio

Hannibal from 2001 has some... disturbing scenes

Manhunter, (1986, dir. Michael Mann) is my first introduction to Lecter, and holds a special place in my heart. It also features a crazy soundtrack, and score, a terrible portrayal of Jack Crawford, and a beautiful performance by Joan Allen. Michael Mann is often ham-handed in his earlier stuff (think Miami Vice) but I still enjoy his particular style.

Celeste Collins

I've seen both movies and it's a coin toss..

So that's it? We won't see 'Rear Window' or 'Misery' or 'Wind River' or 'North by Northwest' ?!? 😭😢😭

JayWantsACat

Im hoping the films that lost will be 'recycled' into the next poll.

Bret

Manhunter is fantastic. Its the only way ill watch the red dragon story. not that red dragon is bad by any means.

FranciscoGios

I was hoping you’ll react to Children of Men, but it all comes to serve what the majority wants; but glad that we will see The Fugitive reaction.

Wind River is absolutely phenomenal. It has a great story and setting, and provides an unflinching look at the plight of life on Native American reservations. It also shows that most rare of things in modern fiction - a man who embodies a masculinity that is strong and traditional and vulnerable and… healthy! And a good and ‘present’ father, too.
