Wonderful reaction! We love John Wick, and we love Keanu. The original script only killed 3-4 ppl. It changed to A LOT when they got the director who was Keanu’s stunt double on the Matrix films. The films are a stuntman’s fever dream. Anytime you see something shocking, remember they’re stuntmen.

Your question about whether Keanu is liked or not: Critics praised him in his first big role, but after Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, they could not separate him from his stoner character and bashed him in every review. He stayed professional. Showed up to work on time. Did months of hardcore training to prepare for roles. Gave a portion of his salary to the VFX team on The Matrix. Never a bad word said about him from anyone who’s worked w/him. His tragedies are gut-wrenching. Abandoned by father who later went to prison for drugs. Nearly died in a motorcycle crash in the 80’s. In 1999, his child (w/his gf) was stillborn. In 2001, his grief-stricken gf died in a car crash. There have been stoner guy impersonations and sad Keanu memes, but now, he’ll always be Neo from The Matrix films and John Wick. These days, he has a gf and seems to be doing fine. Never trust anyone who doesn’t like Keanu.

I personally find this movie to be devoid of substance. The movie "A History of Violence" with Viggo Mortensen would be similar in many ways, but worthy of a review in my opinion

This is based on a true story from where I grew up. Maybe it's because I was around when this happened or I just connect with the people in the movie because it reminds me of growing up this movie really connected with me and always gets me emotional.

I wish they hadn't felt the need to create a fake cop character to center the story on and make the "hero". In reality it was the awareness and quick thinking of regular citizens that got the bombers caught. They should have a little more respect for real world events and heroes.

The struggle was real on that one. I totally enjoy the John Wick movies, but you get trophy for toughing it to the end! haha

The best part of the reaction was right at the start when Cassie said something like "I hope this isn't all actiony and guns". I just thought "OMG, she has no idea was coming". Like Tyler said, you deserve a trophy, or at least a tub of Super Fancy Popcorn for your next reaction :)
