State of the Patreon November 2022 (Patreon)

Hello everyone, welcome to today's State of the Patreon. I am Dominica and I will be your speaker for today.

Aaaanyway just to get everything off my chest and put things into order I'm going to talk about content and my scheduling and what the hell is happening, so let's go.

First, here's a release! Have a loop of Mirko and Mineta getting at it.

I have a couple of items on my drive that are semi-made/finished on a loop level but I haven't gotten the voice acting in on it. Because there's so little to the content it feels kinda rude to have to content them for 10 seconds of moans! I have two extra wips like that, one a short comm with Nejire and one with Poni and Reiko in bed with a couple of winged Nomu.

I hope to get these released soon, but if you're in the 2nd and 3rd tier and have a link to the WIP folder, I'd check in there (there's a midnight loop in there too, but I'm going to reorient that for the poster I made with her recently).

Second note of business, around this time I should have 40,000 followers on twitter, so hooray! It's also sort of my 1st year anniversary? I made my first video technically in September 2021 but then I made a shitton throughout early November and on the 11th I started the twitter account, so I think I made a lot of strides in not to long of a time period! Certainly improved in a lot of cases over my old work (though I still love the originals, especially the first Toga vid).

I'm not sure what I'm going to do for the celebration. The Game is still forefront in my mind so I want to get that started soon. Things like Q&As and art contests are tempting as well but I don't have the time or the Christmas season money to offer up that kind of dough. If you have any extra suggestions I'd say go for it.

Third note. I have peppered in a couple of extra chapters in my fanfic work so if you want to check those out here's the link. I think I'm going to stick to AO3 specifically because wattpad, in terms of searching, is awful. I may post some more explicit content there soon, but it's whatever my mood is as I write them while out and about so there's no set schedule on them, but I do like it when people give me kudos, so check it out.

Fourth note. Scheduling, and the content I want to work on, and Priority.

First off, I'll make it clear that Monthly Videos are always top priority. The Deku video will be made as soon as I get everyone's lines in. Same thing will be for any other monthly vid I get for each month after. That goes without saying. The issue I'm currently having is my backlog moving a lot slower than I expected. I want to personally apologize for any commissioners who've been waiting for over 5 months for a video. With the Nejire vid done up top, I'm actually down to about 7 and 1/2 comms left minus Pandaria and Momo Captured (Yae Miko will need a second part too). However, those two, and by extension the Momo Camie video (which I did a poll for back in January!?) are my main three concerns, as they're big projects, that take a lot of time, and I need to get through them to protect my honor. On that, Pandaria part 2 has made some progress, but that's a slow and grueling animation, and it'll need a third part soon so that'll be around even longer!

But yeah it's long projects like these that get me to make posters more often, because my ideas always outpace my animation speed!

So what I'm thinking, for monthly vids continuing after this, up until they're depleted, I'm going to put my backlog up for consideration for the monthly vids. It'll require a lot of people to go for it, and I still have a preference for new content, but some video wips I've already released have been asked for constantly so I think if people are suggesting it I should take it as one. Besides, out of the hundred or so video suggestors I have, I only get about 10 suggestions in, and the same is for the 2nd tier patrons (that means you guys have a chance! Upgrade now!) So a default option might help alleviate that and put less strain on my backlog, IF I don't find some killer suggestions.

Hopefully this just requires me to buckle down and really pump out the content, but I think I've been doing a lot. I just like making you guys happy and making you involved in the process. I'll cut it off for now but let me know what you think and I'll get back to animating soon!
