We did a lot of visual research for the 1984 David Lynch masterpiece and I was surprised by just how many of the models and miniatures that they painstakingly designed are only on the screen for like 2 seconds.

You never see the back of the big Harkonnen frigate, for instance.

And we never get a good look at the ornithopters .

Right then. Back out into the desert for me!
