I rather like the zeerust feel. It adds a distinct level of detail that gives off the vibe that this is more of an analog-based control system than digital vehicle. I've always pondered what the world would be like today if we didn't go through the digital revolution and the subsequent Apple chic design now applied to everything. Without those things, 80's Science Fiction might have been quite a bit closer to hitting the mark.
