Hello, hello!
I hope you all had a very merry Christmas. I ate way too much chocolate and need to start getting back in shape!

Anyway, here's all the steps that went into a recent scene I completed. For anyone who's played any space games with real life Newtonian physics, you'll know that trying to match your relative speed and angle to a moving object in space is a nightmare! With some panicked breathing sounds, this shot should hopefully get that across when slotted neatly into the rest of the scene.
I ran a few different iterations of this scene by Maki and this is the one we settled on eventually. On one of them the character was looking around inside the helmet and it was just so "shakey cam" you couldn't really tell what the hell was happening!

Anyway, New year is coming up and I hope you all manage to do something nice despite being stuck at home!

I've put quite a lot of time into Elite: Dangerous and Star Citizen and am quite familiar with what you're referring to. Also, touching the wrist kepad to move around is a great touch.

It is looking amazing. And yeah, Elite Dangerous without flight assist is one hell of a ride.
