The R-Type film is *almost* done now and I should have a sneak preview of the final thing up here next month for you, so watch this space! I'll also have a nice hi-res poster for the film for you to print out and hang on your walls and/or household pets and family members.

Here's some new bits I've been working on this month (see attached .mov). As you can see from the above gif, the animation process for the ships & backgrounds is quite simple but very time-consuming, especially when I have to airbrush smoke and add 2D characters into 3D ships, etc. The zoom-in shot of the orange mech at 00:05 seconds in is 2D and you can see him wobbling a bit as I tried to match him to the 3D background!

Anyway, I'm going to get back to work now. Just a couple more scenes to go!
