Production update:  

We're deep in the 20 part of the Pareto Principle. It's the idea that 20% is responsible for 80% of results an audience notices/interact with first.

Rewatching our inspiration, 1979's Alien, really opened our eyes to how greatly sfx builds the atmosphere and music doesn't cue the big, bad monster like many other memorable flicks of its genre. The main theme of Alien is very quiet and subdued compared to the tension I remembered walking away when I watched it last some years ago. We'll include a chapter from the sound staff to share their process and thoughts with you in the artbook that I hope you'll find just as interesting.
