Beautiful but unkind (Patreon)

No one spends time in this picturesque part of the bay. It is completely deserted.

Only near the water where the fallen-over roots and branches are bleached from the sea, it is safe to remain and enjoy this picturesque scenery.

Difficult to distinguish from other trees the Manchineel is avoided by visitors and locals alike, due to it being very unkind to the skin just by a simple touch alone.

Yet, here where the trees have fallen victim to the waves, one can enjoy the spectacular natural shapes and colours.

Especially on a gloomy, grey day, like today a place like this exudes an almost otherworldly charm.
