After a hectic few days we managed to bring some calm back into SV CUBA.

A few days ago, we encountered an issue and still there is water coming into the boat. But for now the leak has been contained and we spent some time contemplating what to do.

Initially, we planned to sail north but now we changed our plans and will move south to be able to tackle the issue while SV CUBA is being lifted out of the water.

Sailing to a new country, however, is not something we can just do, unfortunately. So we spent the past few days arranging our departure from Martinique, gathering paperwork and permissions for the furry crew and ourselves.

Now we just have to wait for our paperwork to be approved and until then, we can only sit and hope it will come soon. 🙂

But in the meantime, do not worry - we are still floating and up until now worked high-speed on the latest video, despite CUBA's slight ailment. 😅

Lotsa love,

Salsa

Sailing SV CUBA

Hey Andy!! So good to read you! - We hope you are doing well? Until last week we had our course set on Antigua and Barbuda to adventure to the pink beach and find a sunken wreck. But SV CUBA decided for change of plans. A seacock failed and now we are about to set sail for Carriacou for a potential haul out. 🙈 It's all good though, spirits are high and hopefully everything will be back to normal soon and we can still adventurize to those destinations! We will keep you in the loop. Sending Big hugs and good vibes your way!! 🤗💛💚💙🧡⛵🌞
