Wonder what real life on a 46ft sailboat feels like? Here is how we live Off-Grid on the Ocean and travel. We give you an insight into our daily life aboard our sailboat.

Our tiny home is currently sailing toward the open ocean and we are getting prepared for our first ocean passage in our 46ft monohull. We are determined to cross the Atlantic and is going to be just the two of us.

Follow us every week as we sail from place to place, travel from country to country and will ultimately cross our first ocean on Sailing SV CUBA.

sounds like the bearings in the motor are done, most likely from the heat in the engine compartment. possible solutions could be to mount it lower in the compartment and add a duct to the fan inlet to the top of the compartment. other solution could be to relocate it to the lazerette (or some place convenient) where it will not get so hot. either way i think you are going to have to get a new fan sooner or later

We will probably change the position of it like you mentioned. But before that we will not get around of buying a new one 😅😅 Hopefully then it will take a bit more than 8 weeks for it to fail again haha
