Wifi does NOT work underwater! 🤦‍♀️🤣 (Patreon)

We want to thank SV Cordelia for lending us their GoPro today to shoot this picture, so we can share it with you!

Yesterday we are anchored in Grand Anses, Martinique but during the week it is not allowed to stay in the area on the hook. But we found an abandoned mooring! Wohoo! 😃🥳

So, we woke up this morning and dug out a little yellow buoy that we found in Malta. Enrique wanted to get rid of it, but I always thought it might come in handy one day – and it did! 💪💪

It was perfect to get the heavy mooring line floating. I dove down and after a few attempts managed to grab the thick mooring. But not without getting stung by fire coral – yeay! All while Enrique filmed ….

SV Cordelia’s GoPro didn’t have a working screen, but Enrique McGyver’d an old underwater phone casing onto it to access the settings of the camera. Where there is a will, there is a way, I guess. 😅

BTW Wifi does not work underwater! The moment the phone went underwater, it lost connection to the GoPro and the phone’s screen turned off. 🤦‍♀️😂

P.S.: A little spoiler alert, we are currently looking to sail to Antigua and Barbuda where we found some interesting places to explore and share with you! We are just waiting until the end of the months to get the rabies vaccine for our furry crew (and Enrique LOL) renewed!
