Hi all, we've still got a LOT to come in arc 5, both in terms of plot and progression, but what are your thoughts thus far?

Loving the chapters! I had one question and I'm not sure if I missed it or its something to be covered later. How did Vir get carried across the Ash as a child? Wouldn't the purana density have killed him?

Vir's impatience is taking a lot away from the reading experience. Yes, he's always been impatient. Yes, he's still just a child high on first love. However, remaining that way makes him static, boring, and frustrating. Its still very early in the arc, and maybe you have plans for him to grow. I'm hoping that's the case.

Thanks for the feedback. I'd wanted to show his desire for prudence being outweighed by his panic at the time progression where he's at. Sounds like the execution there could use some improvement.
