"Well, this was not in the plan," Eric says as he squats down next to the low rock on which the mysterious object rests and picks up the truncated metallic cube to examine it more closely.

"This has to be from Dmitri," Eric continues, "and it's got to be something only I can figure out or use."

Eric puts his flashbeam away and places that hand on the other side of the warm metallic object. Once he has both hands on the cube, there is a distinct click from inside the object and both halves of the cube loosen and are able to be rotated.

"Back to the Akuma", Eric says as he stands back up, "and let's see what Dmitri is up to."
