🇯🇵 Dolly exploring in Japan (Patreon)
Content
My internship is at a university in Toyohashi (actually in quite rural Toyohashi...) but during the weekend I am able to stay in Nagoya with my boyfriend, which is a bigger city. There are two doll stores that I was able to find nearby to our stay: Azone and Volks (Dollfie).
I can only show you the photos from the Azone store, because they had displays which you could photograph, although you couldn't take pics of the merchandise, so you can only see the displays. The Volks store had a pretty harsh no photo policy (BOOOOOOO), they do however have some dioramas where you can take photos with your doll. I did not bring Haruka from the dorm this time, so I will have to go to the Volks store again to take pics (OHHHHHH NOOOO WHAT A SHAME THAT I HAVE TO GO BACK 😏😏😏). I'm not sure they will be happy to see a non-dollfie there taking pictures but oh well.
I actually didn't have too high hopes for the Azone store, because I didn't know much about this brand and one of my friends told me they didn't like anything there. But I have to say that surprisingly I liked the Azone store more, especially the 45cm anime girls you can see in the showcase 😍 I think they were some sort of collab, but some were still available and I will gladly go back to get one of them, over a MDD from Volks like I planned before (I didn't particularly fall in love with any MDD faces I saw in the store). So cute! I have to do some reading on Azone though cause I think they had obitsu bodies in the store? So I'm unsure how the whole system works. Thankfully they're close!
I OF COURSE had to buy some stuff which I hope to showcase soon on Haru 😉 the Azone clothing said 50cm size so I will see if they at all fit. Aaaaahhhh~ I am so happy I got to see it in person. I still plan on checking out the Dollfie Dream Choice somewhere else (the Nagoya store only has the choice experience for their resin line - Super Dollfie - which I'm not interested in) and of course I can't wait to visit the Smart Doll store!
