There's something strange about the sheep farm he inherited. Each morning there's more fur on his pillow. Each evening he can see a little further in the dusk light. Each time he goes into the fields the urge to strip down and lay in the dew gets stronger. The old leather strap hanging on a nail by the doorframe fits so comfortingly against his neck.

He's grown to like it here.
