Hey everyone, it's been longer than usual but here's 0.16!

Now... where to start with this one... There was this cute guard from 10 updates ago or so, I'm sure you all remember her. It finally is her time to shine. She gets a full quest line in one update, a chunk of work comprising of over 500 images, animations and multiple quest steps.

The major scenes also include Kateryna, a date with Zahra, and even the Queen gets some screen time. Apart from that, there are lots of small additions here and there and reworks, detailed in the changelog below.

Keep in mind regarding the NSFW scenes that a couple of animations are still being worked on. The vast majority are already in the game.

It's our first time putting most of a character's arch into one single update. Let's call it an experiment. Let us know what you think.

Minor changes / Bugfixes:

  • Added new animations in Zahra date scene

  • Added new animations in Lirah's duty path

  • Added new animations in Shani's repeatable workout scene & Emilia kitchen scene

  • Fixed a bug where dismissing the Queen's question during the second arena event would continue the scene as if the player answered

  • Added non-sexual options when speaking to Talia at the end of the Freedom or Duty questline

  • Fixed a wrong condition where you could trigger Nadia and Rabiah visiting while Shani is in the Zone

  • Fixed a wrong objective description in "All in the family"

  • Fixed a missing condition for d13k (the player needs to have romanced Shani for it to be available now)

  • Fixed a bug in the Fairy introduction where under certain conditions the script would continue into the void

  • Fixed a couple of instances in the home screen where people were showing up incorrectly

  • Fixed a missing variable check in the bunker when playing as Shani that made examining the device option inaccessible

  • Fixed Lirah's quest not starting under certain conditions (hopefully should cover all cases)

  • Fixed an issue with Fairy's introduction causing the game to flow back to the main menu or random scenes

  • Fixed an incorrect world map marker instance

  • Fixed a wrong name interpolation in Kateryna's scene

  • Fixed a wrong variable check in the Queen's bedroom scene

  • Fixed a variable not having a default state

  • Fixed a dialogue branch if you don't choose any of the Lirah paths

  • Fixed grammar errors and typos that were reported

I am trying to explore all the routes of this update. This is great. When it comes to Igor's visit to Kateryna, it's not just the scenes of Igor, Kateryna, and Zaton that are exciting. I also particularly enjoyed Savana and Zahra talking, Savana winking at Zaton as a sign of what's to come, and looking forward to the next time these two couples meet. (I would like to ask if it will appear at 0.18 or 0.19, hopefully it won't keep us waiting too long.). Since I'm busy with other things, there are two other major scenes and several minor details that I need to find time to explore carefully. In short, this game is worth savoring every frame, every line of dialogue and text.

By the way, I don't know if it's a bug. When Zaton wakes up from Zahra's room, if it's Kateryna riding Zaton, then we go back a few frames and it suddenly jumps to Kateryna's (whispering) scene.

Weve heard this before, but it may have to do with faulty saves. If you want, you can send me the save on discord or somehow else. Other than that restarting the save will surely fix it :/

Loved it!! The dynamic with the queen is amazing, she just needs someone she can trust. And those minor scenes with Ain make the story more lively and wholesome. Now that Kateryna and Shani's story's progressed, I can't wait until we go more into depth on Ain's story

The Mac version at Pixeldrain fails at 144MB, even as a Pixeldrain subscriber. It seems like it may be down to their own networking woes at the moment, it restarted for a bit and I'm now at 284M, so don't worry about it.

I have been playing DesertStalker-0.16a-pc for a few days now. I started at the beginning again (the 5th time). The game looks fantastic, right from the start. Even with the old game version I could follow the quests from day to day but now...it is even better 🤩. Dumb me, I did not even notice there is now a 0.16b-pc and this is it 😂.

I've been waiting for the update with great anticipation, but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. My parents urgently need to go into a nursing home and organizing that is taking up all my time. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up soon.

I finished the new update's Lirah Arc. I always say that I will never tell a game producer how to make their game, but I would like to ask, is that all we will be seeing of her? While she never got much air time, I like her unique blend of independency and loyalty. I was hoping that we would get a blend of the two routes we were presented with, where we would befriend like in her Freedom route, but also convince her to stay at the palace like in her Duty route. Not only would we still have fun times with Talia, but Lirah could potentially become a confidante of the Queen, as well as a look out for Zaton's prolonged "Private Audiances".

Dont expect more for now, there might be a follow up on her story at some point and we have it laid out but her quest ended for now and we will focus on the main story and characters more

This update was very good. With nice content. Love the two possible paths with Lirah and the small event with the queen. This last one fit even better on the dominating path. ;-) I would love to have the interlude on the living room with Kat as main girl !!

since a lot of choices are locking/unlocking different missable scenes there should be some kind of walkthrough otherwise we are forced to q.save before every dialogue.

At some point we want to make one. And also I want to look into making important decisions stand out more visually so you can distinguish between them

I love the game's story, setting, and free sex philosophy. Some scenes are quite long in my opinion. I also wanted to remind you that Stalker is a warrior who wanders the desert and it would be nice to have some action episodes like jumping over obstacles or exploring ruins. I find the story very interesting but unfortunately there is no end. To overcome this problem I suggest creating and finishing a main story for example our warrior could become the future King of the city and finally bring peace and order to these lands, or resolve the issue of the apocalypse by finding a fertile area where cultivate. Once you've built the entire main story, you can think about all the secondary ones. For example, our daughter wants to become a great Stalker, I helped her a lot with this but the storyline ends too quickly. I would like her to realize her dream at the end of everything. I played the game calmly, an hour a day and it lasted quite a while, I really like that it's long and intriguing but the story is far from over. I also love that we have moments of dialogue, moments of action and moments of love. It's a shame, however, that the last few days of the game available were mostly dialogues and little action. I hope you will make up for it :)

Wow. Another great update. I've been enjoying your game since it was first introduced. It just gets better with each update. I would love to see some of the girls with a bit pubes such as young Rabiah has. Just my personal preference. Looking forward to update 17.
