Hello there, and happy (belated) spring holidays!

We are releasing version 0.3.3 to the public! This build adds a new third date with Garreth, (hopefully making him a lot more amicable than his original third date, for those that still remember). It also revamps days 2 and 3 with a lot of dialogue changes and additions.

Tish has unfortunately been laid off as a bartender, moving behind the scenes to occupy herself with her true passion: cooking. This means that she has been completely phased out as a dateable character, although she might still make minor appearances in the story.

For download mirrors and more information about the changes, you can check this post.

Development news

So, with us releasing v0.3.3 publicly, this means that the next patron-only build is just around the corner, right? Well... we will still need some more time for it. Our current expected release time frame is mid to late May.

The next pieces of content will be touch-ups to days 3 and 4, with Cedrik's second date as a new content addition. The date is about a third done, but even if it got finished today, it also needs to be implemented and art assets to be created for it... in fact, we might still see no sprites for it, since (mild spoilers) this is the first time we will be showing off alternate clothes for a character.

Our two writers saw a bit of delay with their work: Lone_Wanderer faced a shift at work, having had to start off a new project, while a close relative of Vinickus had died. We are over this bump now, and we're currently trying to catch up on the necessary workload again.

Other than writing, for the past few months, Rauch has revised and touched up all of the character reference sheets behind the scenes, adding alternate clothes and better defining the anatomy of characters altogether. Yes, he did create references for those anatomical bits, too.

We introduced a new kind of workflow to Folsky, which focuses more on making a batch of sprites for one character at a time, instead of distributing work across multiple characters. This change will help him keep a more consistent style across the character sprite set.

Samples created some new music pieces, however he also has been busy relocating in real life and hasn't had too much time to implement them yet.

We will keep you updated with our progress, but hopefully our next post will be the next build. Until next time!
