Today will be an end. Perhaps today is the last day for somebody's houseplant which died due to lack of water.

Would a houseplant see a game over screen before it moved on to the afterlife? One mystery we can solve however is that you will see one in Identity.

You will see a set of images: first the amulet as is, then it lights up and then it cracks. This is a more abstract representation, but it should get the point across.

This abstract representation also allows us to show this on most occasions where you reach a literal dead end.

We will explore the very nature of the amulet itself as we go on, but as you can guess from this set of images alone, it's pretty important for Nyrok's being.
