It is still March!  Barely, but still!

:D

This is the next version of SilverControl, previously an Aprototypical release.  I will be honest, it is still rough.  But I am convinced it will become something useful one day, so I am keeping at it!

You can find a brief description in this post, but here's the brief:

  • Load SilverControl.cslist as a Scene Plugin (main MainUI->ScenePlugins)
  • Add some characters and all of the plugins you want to use on each
  • Pose the characters and set their plugin settings
  • In the Scene Plugin, open the Custom UI for ClockwiseSilver.States and select Save State
  • Set your characters up in new poses and change their plugin settings as needed
  • Save State again
  • Repeat as desired

You'll notice a new object with two buttons has appeared in your scene.  Next State and Previous State will cycle between your saved states.  That's it!

Why?

As a few folks have pointed out, yes, you can totally do this with built-in VaM stuff, but it is a pain in the ass.  With SilverControl you can load one plugin, the UI is created automatically, and you just need to click one button each time you change up your characters.

It is janky.  When you switch states, the characters will pop and flinch a few times.  This was the best way to ensure that they arrived back at their correct poses.  The transition is ugly, but it works well.  More janky, if you reload the plugin, you'll lose the reference to your state folder.  In ClockwiseSilver.SilverControlUI I've added a button to select an existing folder, but really, just don't reload the plugin once the scene is loaded :-P

I think this is super useful!  I want to grow it into something more robust, but only if folks see some value in it.  Hence my releasing it to all tiers :D  Try it, see if you like it!  Let me know!

Thank you so much for subscribing and enjoy!!!

Why a Gif when it could have been a movie?  Dunno!
