0.2.0 is coming (0.o) (Patreon)

Did you like my clickbait title? No? Pff, poor taste. 😑

Anyway, it's like in the title instead of 0.1.11, next version will be 0.2.0. Read on to know why.

So first of all the next version won't have dungeon, as I don't want to keep you waiting for long enough to complete this mechanic. Instead the next version will come with Fox Shrine (was in previews), decks, and tasks. Of course there will be no lack of other events. 

New fetishes include pregnancy 😎

Fox girls will get the most content, both Little Fox and the new fox girl Rachel.

Other than them, Lexi, Grace, and Savenia will have time to shine. (Trader's daughter will get a new event too.) 🥰

Important thing is that I'm going to add real combat tutorial. Not some tips and descriptions, but actual tutorial. It happens that many people don't understand how to battle at all. 😅 The tutorial will change that! (Unless you skip it. Don't do this...)

There are more cool things coming (like wallpapers  (-_-)). More events and features is always welcome.

Anyway, now it's time to explain my reason for this drastic change of mind. The thing is that I didn't want to do this😔. My plan was different, but game suddenly stopped working. There was an error whenever you press end turn or escape buttons in combat. I was like "what the hell.. I didn't change that at all..".  

That was the weirdest error in my whole life. It was tracing back in renpy's internal code, but it was working the previous version so it couldn't be renpy's fault, it needed to be some new code. And so I was looking for the problem. The only change to combat was decks system, but the change didn't have any effect on these buttons and what they do.. Anyway, I've removed decks system, and.. it was still not working.

My only lead was gone... Funnily enough, when doing what these buttons were doing with keybind (you can end turn with space, not sure if you knew) or through console didn't raise any errors at all! It worked perfectly.. So the problem was in the buttons.. But.. neither were they changed, neither was renpy updated. What the hell is going on?

And like this I made three other attempts at tracing the problem, but I came out empty handed. I've tried deleting my cache, saves, persistent data, all for naught. I've also updated everything I was using. It hit me so hard, that I got burned out like hell. I was really at the end of my mind. There was only one thing I could do at that stage. I was reversing any changes, removing all additions one by one to find the problematic code. You know what? I did find the problematic code. I've changed it. It works now.

Alas, I still don't know why it wasn't working, why it broke the buttons, and how it was connected with them. The thing was completely unrelated, and on top of that it was used in other files, and was not causing any issues.

So much time was wasted on this, and I don't even know why it was broken. I see no reason or possibility for this. It's like if me making myself a coffee made my dad's tea salty. Nonesene? Exactly.

Anyway. Between different tries to fix the error I've started working on some other things, or I wouldn't be able to stand that mindfuck of a problem solving. My plan was broken already, so I've decided to add what I was working on, then add some more events, and release next update as 0.2.0. 0.2.1, 0.2.2, etc. sound better than 0.1.11, 0.1.12.. to be honest.

Next release will come mid month. Current release will become public before that. In the meantime I'm inviting you to my twitter (https://twitter.com/VictoriusAstral).
