OPR Writing Jam #8 Voting is Open

Last week we hosted OPR Writing Jam #8! 32 stories were submitted, and voting is now open until August 20th, at 8PM UK time / 3PM ET time.

The OPR Writing Jams are story writing marathons, where participants are asked to write a one-page story set in the OPR universe in 48hrs, following a common theme. Participation is completely free and at the end of the writing jam we will highlight your favorite stories on our website.

August Painting Contest

We also wanted to remind everyone that they have until August 25th to get their entries in for this month's painting contest.

The community will vote for the best submissions, and the top 3 of each category will get Two special Reward Minis, plus a special 75% Store Discount. As a bonus, one other random participant from each category will also get the special store discount!

OPR Forums are Closing Soon, New Discord Forums Opening

Due to declining activity, we have decided to stop supporting the OPR Forums and open new forum channels on the OPR Community Discord. You have until September 15th to save any posts on the forums that you would like and then the forums will be closed.

Because the forums are home to several valuable resources, such as the fan translations and the community game finder, we will be making new forums on Discord for this content to live and all of the fan translations that were available will be archived there. If you are the lead of one of these projects and would like to continue working on it, please contact the @moderators on Discord.

3D Print - New Previews, New Painting Video

At the top of post you'll see some early previews of the models we are working on for September! The Human Empire Beamer Wagon provides magical protection for the troops around it and fires precision destruction at tough targets.

The Dwarf Guilds the Campion has access to an arsenal of both melee and ranged weapons, and the Thunder Support squad brings heavy armor and big guns to the battle.

Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models, and not the final versions of the models.

Also, this week Paintman Journeying paints the Human Empire Bounty Hunter and their dog companion to look like himself and his own pet pooch.
