Age of Fantasy Lore Focus #7

Every week we're highlighting the lore of a few factions for each of our games, and this week we're focusing on the Age of Fantasy factions: Ogres, Shadow Stalkers, Giant Tribes, and Halflings.

You can read all about them on our website.

2D Print - New Frog-Mage

Last month, In order to ensure that our miniatures are original and distinctive from other products, we've decided to re-work the Saurian Frog-Mage. Now the 2D model has been updated to match. The new version has been automatically updated in your DriveThruRPG / Wargame Vault library for free. Enjoy!

3D Print - New Previews

This week the theme of the previews for next month is "big." For the Human Empire, the Steam Tank is one of the most feared weapons they have to field with both impressive defense and offense with it's large cannon.

Speaking of large cannons, the Alien Hives Artillery Beast is a huge mobile ranged support option able to get offensive firepower where you need it most.

Finally we've got not one, but TWO legendary models releasing next month. The Duchies of Vinci Bear Titan is a massive mobile weapons platform and the Alien Hive's Hive Titan stomps across the battlefield leaving carnage in its wake.

Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models, and not the final versions of the models.

That's it for this week, happy wargaming!

I don't quite understand the Hive Titan. Why does it have vestigial wings that obviously can't lift it? 😖

if you can acknowledge that they're vestigial you obviously understand it.... thats literally what vestigial means. why do humans still have a set of teeth that can kill them if not removed. it isn't enough of detriment to have atrophied from the genes yet.

A bit of feed back, I liked it better when the epic model was from a more recent release faction. Everything else is mint.

There's a variant with fully functioning wings too. presumably it's easier for the Hive Mind or whatever to just put the "grow wings fully" gene later in the monster's gestation

Because even big gigantic face eating monsters want to feel pretty some times.

Could be an intimidation thing. Lots of animals have parts that "frill out" to make them look larger and imposing.

Better question is why the official lore has the hive creatures lobbying for rights lol. The Hive Titan wants a 4 day work week with healthcare benefits!
