3D Print - Delays Over, New Previews, Free Geckos, New Video

The Jackal Vultures and Eternal Dynasty Small Terrain have both been added to the May release group on MMF. With this, the May release has been fully completed. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience and support. :)

At the top of this post you can see previews of some of the models that will be released in June, with the Jackal Veteran, the Saurian Gator Veteran and Spinosaurus, the Jackal Mastodon legendary, plus some new Eternal Dynasty terrain.

Due to popular demand, this week we have updated the Gecko files on MMF, adding clubs as a new weapon option. We hope you enjoy this free addition!

All the new previews look great, and that mastadon is an insane kit! Can't wait to see some printed up. Thanks for adding more weapons for the geckos. It's things like that that prove this is one of the greatest values on Patreon!

I really like the new Crocodile lad. I like the old ones too but they're pretty bare so I hope that this new one is modular with the old kit so we can mix them up

Hi! I have two questions; 1. How do you stop the Halberd's (from the MUMMIFIED DEAD range) from failing? despite numerous attempts I keep hitting the same failures with that particular option. 2. The recommended settings for the Elgoo Mars, etc. are not entirely clear for a (utter and complete) beginner such as myself, I was wondering if there was a way to find some instructions that are machine specific? Or some that are in (more so) laymen terms? I.E. in the recommended settings the terminologies are different from those on the Elgoo Mars 2 (the machine I use) so much so that it is not entirely clear. I daren't try to decipher them for fear of knackering my printer or worse, summon some kind of demon by accident...

the recommended settings should be looked at as more of a recommended starting point. This isnt only for OPR but for anywhere you may get files from. there are so many variables that can affect a print that it is basically impossible for anyone to give you an exact setup that will work all the time. I could have the exact same printer and resin as you and we have to use different settings. I would recommend doing some homework on exposure testing and such to learn a little more about your printer and your resin. sometimes you can simply drag and drop files and then print, other times you might have to add a few supports. It's all dependent on how your printer is going to work. It can seem overwhelming as a beginner when things aren't working as you want but it's really not that bad. Some are lucky enough to be able to do the drag, drop, and print thing but some have to make adjustments. For me, the dice they release are the biggest headache. I haven't come across a single one yet that I can simply just print. I always have to make some setting adjustments and add a few supports to have a successful print of them. Others dont have to do anything.

Thanks for adding more weapon options. Are there any plans to add halberds to the saurian warriors? The files I downloaded a while ago only have hand weapons and spears. Have the models maybe already been upgraded to match the beta rules?

There are no plans for additional weapons for the Warriors, sorry. Generally speaking, in the rules we use the names "Spears" and "Halberds" more as a distinction for weapon effects, than actually as different weapons (as most kits out there usually only come with spears anyway).
