Today we're very excited to show you the latest versions of the Skirmish Rulebooks, as well as some updates on the Machine Cult Defilers and Feudal Guard.

Skirmish Rulebooks

Lo and behold, the wait has finally come to an end and we've uploaded the latest preview of the (hopefully) final versions of the new Full Rulebooks for GFF and AoFS.

In these new versions you'll find all the advanced rules that you already know and love, plus a bunch of new sections that introduce awesome new ways to play:

  • The Tactical Phase adds a new layer of strategy before the game starts
  • Critical Hits add interesting weapon effects that can turn the tides of battle
  • The City Fighting rules give you everything you need to fight in dense urban terrain
  • Rules for Kitchen Table Games allow you to play on small play spaces

Machine Cult Defilers & Feudal Guard

After last week's preview of the Machine Cult Defilers we decided to go back and revisit the army list, as it wasn't feeling quite rights. The new version that we released keeps things mostly the same, but changes some units and upgrade lists to be more in line with the standard Machine Cult list.

When doing so we also decided to go back and revisit the Feudal Guard army list to clear up some inconsistencies with the HDF and add newly released units for it.

Community Campaign

This is not really a new release, but we though it would be cool to let you know that we're running a GF community campaign over the next two weeks, and anyone can join from home or by playing online.

Game Jam 2020

Last but not least we've almost finalized the itch.io page for the OPR Game Jam 2020, and would like to ask you for some feedback on the look and if everything is clear in terms of what the jam is and how it works.

Check it out here: https://itch.io/jam/oprgj2020

That's it for today, keep playing with your toy soldiers and stay safe!

Cheers,

Gaetano
