Hi everyone,

As you know lately we have been focusing a lot of our efforts on the addition of new content in terms of armies and new ways to play, so for the next patch we're going to be focusing on a lot of smaller system changes to polish our games further.

We're also thinking of finally releasing the AI rules at the end of the month, but first we'd like to review them and see if we can simplify them further, cutting some of the excess fat from them.

Then we're also looking at starting to work on the final implementation of the new style of army books, which also might serve as a good opportunity of reworking the full rulebooks a little, but more on that in a future update...

For this weeks update here is a list of some of the changes that are coming to various armies and rules, and that should hopefully all be ready by the end of the month.

General

- The cost of the Sniper special rule will be raised by 25%

Firefight/Skirmish

- Rout tests will be taken at the end of the round (to be affected by special rules)

- Tough units that are Stunned and are hit/charged take 1 wound instead of being insta-killed

Campaign Rules

- Lots of small typo fixes and clarifications

- Heroes that gain new traits will increase their cost by an additional +5pts

Change Disciples

- A new Greater Lord of Change will be added

Feudal Guard

- More weapon options to be added across the board

- Captains and Champions will have the option to upgrade with Honor Doctrine

- Honor Doctrine will be an upgrade for Elites instead of a standard rule

Machine Cult

- A new lesser version of the Machine Priest will be added

- Regeneration will be an upgrade for the Machine Priest  instead of a standard rule

- EMP will be modified to be Rending on 5+ for consistency

Orc Marauders

- A new Goblin Tank unit will be added

**********

That's it, just a lot of small changes here and there. Hopefully we'll be done with the release of the AI rules and the new army books soon so that by the end of October we can start rolling out the new one-off games. :)

Cheers,

Gaetano
