New Grimdark Future Army + Point Calculator Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

I've just updated the files in the early access folder with a new army for Grimdark Future and an updated version of the Point Calculator, go check them out!

Rebel Guerrillas

The Rebel Guerrillas are a new army for Grimdark Future that was highly requested by fans (along with the Infected Colonies), so we finally decided to put it in the game for everyone to enjoy.

What's cool about this army is that every model in a unit can be armed with a different weapon and that each unit can be upgraded with a series of gadgets, meaning that there are a TON of variations you can create making them highly versatile.

On top of that we decided to give the unit a couple of other fun units for you to play around with, like the furious Simians, the tough-as-nails Chelonians and the mysterious Warrior Monks that cut down foes with Energy Sabres and mess with them using their advanced Monk Powers.

All in all we think that this came out as a great army with lots of theme, so we're very satisfied with the result. :)

Point Calculator

We've updated the Point Calculator with the latest version containing the Designer's Guidelines and all of the illustrations we have.

For those that are new the Designer's Guidelines are notes on how to approach the creation of armies, units and weapons so that they are in line with the official armies created by us.

With this new version we tried to expand on them a little wherever we could as well as provide examples and clarifications that were necessary, including answers to some of the most common questions such as how to create units with multiple firing modes and how to create weapon upgrades.

On top of that we also added a list of common weapons that you can use as a reference when creating your armies. This is of course just a set of guidelines and you can create everything from scratch as always. ;)

At this point the new Point Calculator is pretty much finished, with just a little more polish to follow. Once I feel that it's ready I'll make an update and maybe also a news post so new players are aware that it exists.
