He put so much thought into everything, you will love the behind stuff so much. I'm always so endeared, whenever he speaks about his music. You can really feel his love for and appreciation of music, and especially his own songs. He's a great storyteller and I'm so grateful he gets to show off this singer-songwriter side of his, that doesn't really fit into your standard idol-image. Both behind videos feature an interview that was recently recorded and he does hint at working on more music (YAY!), but he doesn't want to speak of something that isn't certain like always. So there's hope for a solo album for sure. I feel like him and Mark, as well as Kun and Ten, are the best candidates for solos, because they're so darn passionate about it and SM is lazy, so if the boys do most of the work, they will more easily give them the opportunity to release something. I agree with your sentiment that the song is effortless, and the MV follows suit. Like man is cruising on a bike thru Italy with minimal make up and styling, and it's still the most perfect thing. The whole aesthetic fits him perfectly. The black and white shots are so gorgeous and in color everything hits even more home, ugh. I'm tempted to steal your wallpaper!! I'm still obsessed with that scene, are you kidding me?! Perfect.

As for 'Dear M' - I think even for people who don't know a thing about NCT and Jaehyun in particular, it is a very nice and engaging drama. Ofc I can't say it's something revolutionary, it's a familiar university setting, stories about friendship, relationships, some pressures in society and stuff, but it is a very enjoyable and heartfelt drama. And since you're Jaehyun-biased, you have even more reasons to watch it :D Honestly, it's his acting debut but he did very well.

I really liked Dear.M even though it's a pretty basic drama. There are some decent comedic moments and the ensemble cast is pretty solid. Of course, Jaehyun's romantic scenes got a lot of hype, but it was really his scenes with his character's sister that show his potential as an actor. He had me tearing up. I would definitely be up for a watch party.

I havent pressed play the video yet but just wanna let u know that i cried watching the MV behind like idk watching him passionately talking about his music the way he gives input to the mv and some behind the scenes that show how soft and sweet jaehyun as a person.. immediately after i watched the behind video i said "jaehyun is a kind soul and its crazy how a lot of people misunderstand his character and personality". you really have to watch it esosa whenever u have time :,)

omg just finished watching this hqhshs ure my fav person ever when it comes to reacting to jaehyun stuffs cus i feel like u get him like most of us valentines do like when u pulled up his baby vid bcs u thought of his nose scrunch 😭😭 we looove his nose scrunch and his whisker whenevr he smiles. i feel like i got so emotional when horizon dropped especially after the mv behind. Then someone on twitter made a thread analysing Horizon lyrics where they discovered that Horizon has a freedom theme and it shows in the way he wrote the lyrics where he didnt follow the typical rule and structure, he bulldozed it and made it work... freedom.. the thread is a bit long but its worth to read :) https://twitter.com/mortalperilou/status/1690270797355778048?t=5LPY3DaRiE0_zo6zVhTBKQ&s=19 also yess would loveee to watch Dear M with you. to me its such a lighthearted and fun drama, and jaehyun is soooo cute in it like its just jaehyun playing himself. it was a perfect first role for him and im happy that he decided to do a thriller movie after his cute lil university drama. i have a mutual who stanned him after watching Dear M like she had no idea hes an idol. She realised hes a good singer bcs there singing scenes in the drama so she looked him up and the rest is history. Shes a full time fan after being convinced with Forever Only. ive watched Caitlin Benson's, Jeff Avenue's and RJKPOP's reaction to Dear M so whenever ure down to watch I WILL BE THERE 😁
