His rapping is iconic, but I also really love his singing voice and the contrast between both displayed in the songs is so so pleasing to me. I love it so much. And the album really is just SO HIM, I could cry. I'm so proud! The production is top-notch, and knowning how involved he was in everything makes it even more amazing. Gwando was gonna be the title track of the album for the longest time, but everything changed when he heard the demo for Shalala for the first time. And while Shalala is probably my least facvorite track of the album, I can see why it's the title track and how it works the best for exciting stages! The special video was indeed shot in Thailand! 127 took part in M(a)Y Concert in Bangkok and he went there a day earlier together with DJJ (who had a fanmeeting there) to film this. It's such a gorgeous video, I love that relaxing vibe - fits the song perfectly, I agree! Ruby is a very special song for him. It's dedicated to his childhood dog Ruby, who died a few years back and has always been a great source of strength and happiness to him. A few lines are clearly directed at her and it's so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. My bubu! I've see many stating 404 as their favorite track, it's probably mine as well - I'm just always bad at having only one favorite track xD And Taeyong is the member who embraces and embodies the neo concept the best, so it's no wonder the album feels so connect to 127/NCT to you. Neo is in his blood!

T.Y the father of NCT, I'm sure his blood is neon green at this point 😭 .Such an amazing artist, also if u understand Korean, virtual Insanity slaps way harder, cuz is difficult sometimes for translators to put it in english since its written with by him and his thinks directly in korean. Also Virtual Insanity was not new to me cuz he released it on his sound cloud 2 yrs ago, if u are czennie and u follow him on Souncloud you might know already and had heard the song, he just did some modifications but the core production is the same, slaps the same if not upgraded. In Shalala - YEAH there's like a little... flute??? Kind of a sound? Maybe just a synth but it's sooooo interesting - the tone of it reminds me of a reed like bamboo flute or something, but the changes between the notes and slides doesn't make it sound like it's actually a flute. And yeah I didn't notice it the first time or two through the song either like at all - but when I saw your face I knew exactly what you were thinking about. But Taeyong is so beautiful. And I also thought Gwando was Thailand but yeah I googled it right after I saw it and found out it was Pattaya <3 Gorgeous. Move Mood Mode - it's soooo beauuuutiful. It's just love. But I want more. But also it's perfect as it is. I know exactly what you mean. But also. Taeyong writing all these songs I love him so much. The prechorus is just floating. The falling in love feeling. Virtual Insanity being so neo yeahhh Ruby still makes me cry, I guess. wahhhhh it's too pretty and touches my heart. 404 following that is soooo perfect. And the ending of it??? The way he let's there be space for instrumental song development is just... I love love love him. It picks up just enough at the end of 404 to not feel totally jarring when you go into Back to the Past - and Back to the Past vibe feels fun like you can go into Shalala from there and it all connects so beautifully. But really Taeyong is so brilliant tbh. Have a great Paris trip!

Ruby is actually written for his dog “Ruby” that had already passed away, so the lyrics is based on both his memories and imagination.

if you haven't heard them you should check out taeyong's songs he's released on soundcloud! they are so so good! "blue" is my favorite, if you liked 404 not found, it's very similar to that style!
